Our Story

Inspiration and aspiration are the keys to Quinvas Chocolates.

Inspired by nature - all our ingredients are plant-based and lacking in any chemicals, additives or preservatives - and we're the world's only chocolate that uses Quinoa as a dairy alternative!

Inspired by health - we make chocolate that is gluten, lactose, allergens-free and low in unrefined sugars, making it safe for diabetics and other similar people who want to enjoy chocolate that doesn't taste like it's come out of a medical lab!

Our chocolate is inspired chocolates! Inspired by a goal for healthier chocolates that taste like ordinary chocolates.

Inspired by a goal to respect our planet. Currently our packaging is plastic-free and we use compostable cellulose.

And finally, Quinva Chocolates is inspired by a dream. One night, our founder Julie Jackson saw truffles with unique flavours. Having never had any prior interest in chocolates, when waking up she drew and wrote down the experience. Today the vision has expanded not only into one of health and sustainability, but also joy and inclusion for all!

Meet our founder

Julie Jackson is an artist who also works in education with children and young adults. A Londoner by birth and Cameroonian by heritage her bi-culturalism, love of travel and wonder shines through in our chocolate flavours!
